Before we get started I have listed a few survival tips to help your party run smoother:

First, make sure you select games you think your child will love and pick some back-ups, just in case. Next, setup a schedule of events before the party on which games will be played, what order and a time limit. Finally, don’t forget the “fun” factor in the party. Not every child is going to win every event, so make sure each event is designed to be “fun”, “loud” and “enjoyable”.

Hopefully these tips will help reduce your party stress and allow you to enjoy the party. So have fun at the Ultimate Party!

* Jellyfish Fields: For the game, make fishing poles out of orange painted dowel rods and string.  Hot-glue to the end of each string a painted pink Styrofoam ball cut in half.  Take pink pipe cleaners and twist them tightly around a pencil, then pull the jellyfish tendril out to twice its coil length and hot-glue 6 to the flat side of each jellyfish body. Hot glue a small piece of rough side Velcro to the end of each tendril. Have the kids fish for felt flowers (cut out in the same flower pattern from the cartoon), while they have to avoid the felt seaweed (green felt) and nets (cut out of tan and brown felt).

* Balloon Relay: First, divide the children into two teams and each child gets a balloon. The first child has to run to the chair across the room, pop the balloon by sitting on it and run back to the next child. The first team to pop all their balloons wins!

* M&M Races: Start out each child with a small bag (Halloween size) of M&M's, a straw, a cup and a plate. On the word "go" they have to open the M&M's, dump them on the plate and suck each one up with the straw and drop it into the cup. The first one done wins a prize.

* Treasure Chest Hunt: You can either purchase a treasure chest or make one out of a cardboard box, covering it with brown construction paper and coloring on it. Give the children a few clues to get them running all over the party area trying to locate the Treasure. Once they find it, they can each take their "fair share" of treasure. Fill it with spongebob pencils, candy, stickers, etc.

* Bikini Bottom Limbo: Take an old wooden mop handle and spray paint it blue.  If you have younger kids, I would suggest having adults hold the pole to "help" them. Use Limbo music from a Kids Music CD.

* Pin the pants on SpongeBob: This is a great twist of "Pin the tail on the donkey". First, draw SpongeBob on a large poster board, but leave off his pants. Then, cut out enough pants for each child to have one. Finally, get a blindfold, put double sided tape on the back of each set of pants and whoever gets the closest to the “missing pants” wins. This should definitely be one of your ultimate SpongeBob Kid Games.

Check out Nickjr.com for a good example of this game.

* SpongeBob Coloring Pages: Give each guest an activity booklet with coloring pages to do either at your party or to take home in a goody bad. Check out our Ultimate SpongeBob Kid Games Coloring Pages. A perfect activity to calm the children down and an ultimate birthday game for your party!

* Mr. Krab's don't waste a drop of water relay: First, either purchase two sponges that look like SpongeBob and Patrick or create them yourself. Next, divide the kids into two teams and have them form two single file lines.  Several feet away from the start of the line, place two chairs and the two empty small yellow buckets. Then, put the sponges in large bowls full of water near the front of the line. One by one, each kid has to soak his sponges in water, place them on his chest/stomach and do the crab walk to the empty bucket. Then, squeeze out as much water as possible and run back.  The object is to get as much water as possible in your teams bucket.

* Who am I?: First, as each child arrives attach a picture of a SpongeBob character on their back. They must go around and ask other guests questions about their character. Once they guess their character correctly, you can award them with a prize.

* The Bikini Bottom Driving Schools Tire Changing Challenge: The best prop for this game is two tire tubes. Once you have a round object that can be rolled, form two teams and have them line up. The object is to roll their tire to a chair and as they go around the chair they have to step INTO the tire and wear it around their waist for the run back.

* Bubble Blowing: If you have ever seen the episode where SpongeBob teaches Squidward to blow a bubble, you are ahead of the game. First, give each child a bottle of bubbles. Then the children must go through the motions with you before they could blow the perfect bubble.

Bubble Blowing Steps: Go like this (takes one leg and bends it back), then around (spins very fast), stop! Double check three times (looks to his right three times), one, two, three. Then PELVIC THRUST (thrusts pelvic), stomp on your right foot, don't forget it! Now it's time to bring it around town (keeps legs on ground, rotates rest of body), bring it around town. Then, you do this (butt jumps), then this (butt jumps again), and this (changes shape to an "O"), then that (changes shape to a zig zag), then this (changes shape to a triangle), and this (changes shape to a circle with a block through it), then this (changes shape to a squashed square), then that (changes shape to a Cyclops), and then (blows wand, make a rubber duck-shaped balloon).
