Sharlene Johnson's halloween birthday party ideas make an excellent party submission.
The ideas are unique and can be easily added into any party theme.
She starts out the party theme guiding us through her invitations, decorations and finishing up with the thank you notes.
It's all here and well laid out. You aren't going to find these party ideas anywhere else on the web, so start reading!
Once again, thanks Sharlene for these wonderful party ideas and I hope the readers will be able to utilize these in their future parties!

Homemade invitations made by my kids that had scary pumpkin faces, witches, goblins, etc. made from construction paper and pipe cleaners.

Streamers hanging from the ceilings, spider webs and plastic spiders lurked in the corners. We used white sheets and hung them in the entrance and exit areas. Glow in the dark skeletons were hanging on the walls and we had a night light that made the room glow.

We used a black plastic table cover and there was a huge big black pot in the center of the table. We used dry ice and a smoker to send smoke across the room.

All children we dressed up as scary goblins, ghosts, pumpkins, etc.

First we played a CD that had eerie noises like doors slamming and squeaking until most of the guests arrived. We played bobbing apples, face painting, balloon sculpting, and pin the tail on the black cat.

Idea for Food:
We served mini hot dogs, and sloppy joes burgers (gruesome burgers).
Idea for Refreshments:
We served lemon-lime soft drinks in a huge pot like a witch's pot and there was a ice ring in the middle with gummy worms frozen inside i.e., which was called the witch's brew.
