This list of games is growing everyday, so check back often. Or if you figure out a new "Barnyard" themed game, please send it in so we can share it with the rest of the world.

Before we get started I have listed a few survival tips to help your party run smoother:

First, make sure you select games you think your child will love and pick some back-ups, just in case. Next, setup a schedule of events before the party on which games will be played, what order and a time limit. Finally, don’t forget the “fun” factor in the party. Not every child is going to win every event, so make sure each event is designed to be “fun”, “loud” and “enjoyable”.

Hopefully these tips will help reduce your party stress and allow you to enjoy the party. So have fun at the Ultimate Party!

Oh yeah, don’t forget the camera!!!

* Sheep Herding: To setup the game, blow up two white balloons before the party. Cut two short pieces of black curling ribbon and attach it to the balloons as sheep tails. Use a black marker to draw the faces on them.

Game instructions: divide your little farmers into two teams. Give the first player on each team something to herd the sheep across the room and back to the next player, such as, a broom, fly swatter, hanger, or any other object that has a flat side. The first team to finish herding their sheep wins!

* Fishing Hole: Purchase a punchball balloon, put it in a small ziplock, squeeze the air out and put it another zip lock with some sand for weight. Put a soft side of Velcro on the bags and the hook side on a metal paint roller cleaner. Tie the "hook" to a dowel and put the plastic tub beside the sand box so you can pour the sand back into the sand box after they caught their fishes.

* Pin the tail on the "???": This is the same Pin the tail on the Donkey, but with a barnyard twist. You can either play, "Pin the Tail on the Pig", "Pin the tail on the Cow" or "Pin the farmer on the tractor". Any of these variations will be an exciting game at your party.

* Petting Zoo: Check you local phone book and see if you can find a mobile petting zoo. There are a lot of small companies that have animals they can bring to your house. Kids love to get up close to any creature or animal.

* Egg Hunt: Purchase some plastic eggs from a local store or craft store. In each egg place either one or two baby chenille chicks or yellow pom-poms (egg yolks). The children must collect these eggs that the farm chickens have laid about the yard. After the children have collected all the eggs, have them count how many "yolks" they have in the eggs. The child with the most "yolks" wins!

* Animal Charades: Print out pictures of farm animals and place them in a bowl. If you need some pictures, check out our Ultimate Selection of Barnyard Clip Art & Pictures. Have either the children or parents pick a picture and act it out. Everyone else must guess what they are trying to be. This game is surely a barnyard must!

* Hay Hunt: Start by spreading a tarp and separate the hay on it. Hide any type of object you have inside the hay. Objects like candy, wooden nickels, farm animals or any other small object will do. Watch the kids roll through the hay trying to get as many objects as possible.

* Hay Wagon Races: If you have enough wagons, team up the kids and have a race. Kids love to compete and this will definitely get their competitive spirit going!

* Lost Animal Search: It is the farmer's job to call the animals in from the pasture, but sometimes a few might get left behind. It is the kids’ turn, to be a farmer, and round up the lost animals that didn't make it in. Hide either plastic or stuffed animals throughout the yard and have the children help them return to the barn safely.

* Movie Time: If your party happens to fall on a day with bad weather, make sure you plan some indoor activities. Buy a movie about farms or animals and have it ready, just in case. Have a book handy about farms in case the children are getting hyper and need to calm down. Most of these games can be changed to fit an indoor theme, just be creative.
