* Fishing Pond: Here is a great game that involves fishing. To start, cut out little fishes and place them on a big piece of fabric. Drape it on your couch and hide behind the couch while the kids take turns throwing dowels with yarn over the pond. Have them fish several times to get a prize, such as, crayons, Goldfish snack cup with goldfish crackers, or Elmo Fruit snacks.

* Fishing for Dorothy: Here is a great game called fishing for Dorothy. Fill a kiddie pool with water and cut fish shapes out of fun foam. Attach a paper clip to the nose of each fish. The kids "fish" with a pole made from a dowel and a piece of string. The "hook" is a magnet attached to the end of the string. The paperclips will cling to the magnet and the fish will be caught.

* Pin the Nose on Elmo: Enlarge a picture of Elmo either on your computer or at a copy store. Make enough noses so each child will have one. Blindfold the children one at a time and let them attempt to put the nose on Elmo. Whoever is the closest wins a prize!

* Fill Dorothy's Fishbowl: The next game is called Fill Dorothy's Fishbowl relay. Start by dividing the kids into 2 teams. Have each team line up near a bucket of water, and place an empty fishbowl 15 feet away from each team's starting point. Each child will take turns filling their cup in the bucket and running to the fishbowl, where they will pour their cup of water into the fishbowl until it is full.

* How many Dorothy's?: Purchase a fishbowl or some type of bowl and fill it with goldfish crackers. Make sure you count them before you put them in. When the children arrive, have them guess how many crackers are in the bowl?

* Balloon Bounce: Give every child an Elmo plate taped to a paint stir stick from a hardware store. Then blow up a few red balloons and have the kids work together to try and keep the balloons from falling on the floor. It is so much fun for them and by the end there will be several balloons so they each could try to keep one in the air.
